Ms. Gibson has primarily concentrated her practice in the areas of special education, sexual harassment and general education issues. She has handled school litigation matters such as appeals to the Commissioner of Education, special education impartial hearings and federal actions under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Education Law and has supported litigation efforts in employee disciplinary proceedings pursuant to the Education Law and Civil Service Law.

Ms. Gibson received her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law. Ms. Gibson is admitted to the practice of law in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the Courts of the State of New York. In addition, Ms. Gibson is a member of the New York State and Suffolk County Bar Associations. She is a frequent speaker on special education issues and various education law topics at seminars and workshops on Long Island and Westchester County.
