Alessandra Pulit is an associate with the firm concentrating her practice in the areas of special education law, labor and employment law, student disciplinary hearings, and litigation.
Ms. Pulit is a graduate of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she was President of the Italian-American Law Organization, Editor in Chief of the Pace Intellectual Property, Sports & Entertainment Law Forum, Secretary of the Federalist Society, a Student Mentor, and a Student Attorney at the John Jay Legal Services' Health Law and Disability Rights Clinic. Ms. Pulit also participated the 2019 American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition in Brooklyn, NY and the 2019 International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition Regional Round for the Americas in White Plains, NY.
Prior to law school, Ms. Pulit studied U.S. History with minors in Political Science and Philosophy at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. During her senior year, she worked for the Artillery Company of Newport and completed her undergraduate thesis on the U.S. Marines at the Battle of Khe Sanh. She defended her thesis before a panel of Professors and presented it at a student Expo.
Throughout her undergraduate career and following her graduation from Salve Regina in 2014, Ms. Pulit worked in the Cheshire Public Schools in Cheshire, CT as both a substitute teacher and summer school instructional assistant for self-contained classrooms in the Extended School Year program. For 6 years, she worked closely with students with mild to severe disabilities in the classroom, delivering instruction, implementing Individualized Education Plans, and assisting main classroom teachers in classroom management and instruction.
Ms. Pulit is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
